Andrew Kimoto, Director Applications Development
Andrew heads Coalesce's Information Research department. He is responsible for development and maintenance of all internally developed software, including the web-based iConvergent™ contact management system. His department is also responsible for all external web-development/web design projects.

Andrew's web front-end development skills include HTML/XHTML (hand-coded), CSS, XML/XSLT, JavaScript and DHTML. His web back-end development skills include AFP (ASP using Microsoft Visual FoxPro) and PHP. He is also experienced at database design and applications development using Microsoft Visual FoxPro and MySQL.
Andrew started with Coalesce in 1995 as a Research Analyst. In 1998, he was promoted to Client Team Leader, managing activities within Coalesce on behalf of specific clients. In this capacity, Andrew managed client closed-loop scientist-to scientist communication programs; market research projects and database rebuild projects for large clients (i.e., Agilent and Brinkmann). . In 1999, he took over management of the Coalesce Applications Development department. He converted LABS™ Database, then a immense flat file of individual laboratories, into a relational database, and redesigned Coalesce's inhouse contact manager into the fully featured web-based iConvergent™, used by numerous clients.
Andrew's educational background includes a B.S. in Marketing from San Jose State University.
