Alliances & Partnerships
We appreciate your interest in our Corporate Alliances/Partnership technical consulting services. Coalesce is in a unique position to assist you in contacting appropriate life and physical science organizations in the U.S. and abroad to develop partnerships/alliances. Coalesce assists companies worldwide in the identification of business opportunities, technologies, products, new drug candidates, companies and partners for strategic alliances. Typically, this is a multi-step process:
Identifying the Market Potential and Best Prospects:
Step one involves Coalesce identifying the best targets for strategic partnerships, alliances or acquisitions from its vast information storehouses and databases.
Coalesce then conducts one-on-one telephone interviews with key decision makers to qualify both the level and immediacy of their organization's interest. From this Coalesce estimates the total market potential. Coalesce also determines the best potential ways to structure the relationship with the most likely partners.
Structuring the Relationships:
Based on the technology's research results, experienced Coalesce professionals then take the lead role with initial contacts, negotiations, and begin structuring the relationships. Here are two typical approaches:
- Partnership/Alliance Campaign on focused targets: The program can be conducted as an intense partnership/alliance campaign, and focus on a few (6-12) of the most likely prospects uncovered above. In this case Coalesce would contact the most likely partners and develop interest by telephone, and then meet on-site with key decision makers at organizations that are seriously interested in moving forward. This generally involves a series of meetings or focus groups conducted inside carefully selected organizations. These meetings serve to determine the specific details necessary for implementation and the overall value to the organization, so that a proposal can be drafted. A positive outcome would lead to additional meetings and discussions involving the target organization's scientists and deal-makers. This type of campaign requires that the Coalesce professionals involved be intensely trained, so they have an in-depth understanding of your technology/platform/service.
- Identify and Qualify Decision Makers: Alternatively, the program can be much broader in scope and conducted as an Opportunities Program targeting a few hundred organizations. Coalesce Opportunities Programs identify and interview multiple decision makers, from bench scientists through Directors and VP's. These activities create opportunities for our client's technical/sales team to make presentations at prequalified sites, and make progress toward developing relationships. Coalesce again needs to thoroughly understand your technology, but this approach requires the client to field technical/sales teams earlier in the process. Throughout the business development process Coalesce provides assistance, support and follow-up as needed. We are conducting such programs for products and services ranging from $200,000 to several Million dollar/year contracts.
For all programs, Coalesce utilizes its LABS™ Database of laboratories in the U.S. and Canada, which currently contains more than 150,000 labs and departments, each with the names of current key research and development personnel, a description of their responsibilities, and a list of the instruments, software and databases they are employing. Coalesce has spent millions on the construction and annual updating of LABS. New research programs constantly add laboratories and key scientists in leading edge research areas like bioinformatics, pharmacogenomics, personalized medicine, new potent compounds and carriers, biological testing, process improvement, proteomics and many other disciplines.
We would be happy to provide client references for our services. We look forward to discussing your needs in more detail and meeting you soon.
